Welcome to Doing Life Together! We’re so glad you’re here. We hope you’ll take your shoes off, grab a cup of tea, and relax while you’re here with us. Life can be stressful and it’s nice to have friends to share it with, which is what this blog is all about.

Doing Life Together is written by a small group of Christian writers who meet weekly to share life and to critique our writing projects. We started meeting about 20 years ago and have become more than critique partners. We’ve become the best of friends, providing support and prayer for every adventure and crisis life has dealt us.

Through this connection with each other and our bond of love for Jesus, our lives have been enriched. We thought it would be nice to have some others join us in our life journey so we can enrich each other on a broader scale. That’s where you come in! Here’s our promise to you: We will post every Tuesday and Friday, with the possible exception of when there are 5 Tuesdays or Fridays in the month. We’ll write from our hearts and be vulnerable about our struggles. We’ll share with you things we find funny and things we’re struggling with. We hope you’ll comment when we strike a chord with you so we know you’re a fellow pilgrim with us, heart, mind, and soul.
